The pictures below document the process and progress of the making of the Four players sculpture. The process included (in no particular order) welding, cutting, carving, routing, glueing, clamping, drilling, screwing, bolting, nailing, weaving, knotting, sodering, burning, stretching, painting, staining, melting, sanding and lots of lifting.

I would also like to acknowledge the help of the following people who helped me in many of the aforementiones processes along the way. Without their help it would have been an impossible task.

Joe Doherty, John Gilsenan, Gary Kiernan, Ross Cochrane,Michael Mc Govern, Ross Sheridan, Liam Hyland, Mark Hyland, Terry Hyland, Niamh Cahill, Michael Reilly and Anita Reilly.

The making of the Four Payers sculpture was featured in a documentary for Cavan Arts Office. The section on The four players can be viewed here.
