This collection of sculptures was created directly after the Four Players sculpture had been completed and was concieved with a similar concept in mind. The sculptures are all inspired by traditional Irish music,Irish musical instruments and Irish music céiles. The sculptures reference forms, shapes and functions seen in traditional Irish music. Unlike the four players sculpture however they are not intended to be played but are instead abstract representations of my ideas and thoughts on Irsih music. The exhibition ran in conjunction with and for the duration of Fleadh 2010 in Cavan. Below are images of a selection of the sculptures from the exhibition.
